What a night! During an awesome Awards show hosted by Geraldine Kemper (our boys liked the eye candy) we excitingly received a Dutch Search Award in the category ‘Best Search in Travel/Leisure’. We are extremely proud of this achievement!
What did we do? Well, in short, we developed the so-called Hotel Score. This score is an automization method for bid marketing which allows us to base our bids on future, or expected, data instead of historic data. With the automization method every hotel gets an automated score based on, amongst others, availablity, the price and the current search behaviour. We use this data to calculate the score and based on this the system automatically determines which hotels are most promising to convert our customers into booking.
